Who I am

Photography hooked me from the very start.

I began taking pictures as a teenager, photographing my dogs, cats, friends, and family. I don’t know how anyone put up with me - I always had a camera in my hand and, inevitably, in someone’s face.

My love for photography grew as I met friends with similar interests. We’d spend hours taking the most outrageous and crazy pictures we could - which often led to doing very dumb things. You know, pyrotechnics, cliffs, the usual. But, in those dumb things I learned what it takes to create art.

While I did receive formal education in photography, I really believe that photography is an art, something to be curated, something that can’t just be learned, but needs to be practiced.

What am I interested in most?

I want to travel the world and capture moments beyond my day-to-day. I want to tell the stories of others, their relationships, their families. I want to experience the world through a lens.
